By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


1) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have permission from your parent/guardian.

2) Accounts

Some Apps require an account.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3) Your content & local-only data

Some Apps let you create or store content (for example: notes, photos, videos, or measurements) ("User Content").

Local-only by default: Unless an App clearly tells you otherwise (for example via an in-app feature description or a linked privacy notice), User Content and sensitive data are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Your responsibility: You are responsible for your device security and backups (for example: OS/device backups). If you delete the App or lose your device without a backup, your local data may be lost.

Optional sync/backups (if offered): If an App offers optional cloud sync or backups, that App will explain what is uploaded and why, and your use of that feature may be subject to additional terms and privacy disclosures.

4) Subscriptions, purchases, and billing

4.1 App Store / Google Play billing

If you buy a subscription through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google (not us). You manage subscriptions and cancellations in your Apple/Google account settings.

4.2 Renewals

Subscriptions typically auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date shown by the store.

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple/Google under their refund policies. If you have trouble accessing a subscription feature, contact support and we'll help troubleshoot.

4.4 Subscription status / entitlements

We may use a third-party service such as RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and entitlements across devices. This generally involves subscription metadata rather than your full payment card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or infringe others' rights.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security of the Service.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malware or harmful code.
  • Use the Service to collect personal data about others without permission.
  • Misuse any reporting, referral, promotion, or trial systems.

We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, the Service, and our legal obligations.

6) Third-party services

The Service may integrate or link to third-party services (for example: analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, or platform login). Those third parties may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7) Intellectual property

The Service (including code, design, branding, and our content) is owned by Thumbstone or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

8) Privacy

Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Notice:

If an App offers optional sync/backups or other data processing beyond local-only storage, the relevant privacy notice will describe it.

9) Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • breach these Terms,
  • create risk or harm to other users or the Service,
  • or we must do so to comply with law or platform requirements.

10) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content/features will always be available.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or £0 if you paid nothing).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example via an in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection rules require otherwise.

14) Platform terms (Apple / Google)

Apple (iOS): Apps downloaded from Apple's App Store are governed by Apple's Standard EULA unless we provide a custom EULA in App Store Connect. oai_citation:0‡Apple
